Yedei Chesed, a 501(c)(3) registered with the New York State Charities Bureau, was founded in 1992 by Rabbi Simon Lauber to advocate for the developmentally disabled of our community. Our commitment is to provide these individuals the opportunity for an improved quality of life and the potential for independence, inclusion, individualization, and productivity. Yedei Chesed advocates for the rights, choices and opportunities of people with developmental disabilities and assists them in attaining their rightfully deserved place in society. Yedei Chesed is a contract agency certified by the New York State Office of People With Developmental Disabilities(OPWDD).
